Ayreçillos manços,
passo quedito,
que duerme el niño,
y le bastan los ayres de sus suspiros.

No me le recuerde el ayre
el amor que esta dormido,
que quando esta el sol en calma,
no soplan los ayreçillos.

Pareçe el nevado sierco,
porque esta desnudo el niño,
y aun jasmin el maltratarle
es ayrozo desatino.

Dexen que el amor descançe,
pareçe el zephiro frio,
que aun ayre leve despierte
un cuidadozo dormido.

go very sweetly
because the child sleeps,
and the breath of his sighs suffices for him.

May the wind not awaken
the love that is dozing off:
