General Information
Title: Beati omnes qui timent Dominum
Composer: Jacotin
Number of voices: 3vv Voicing: ATB
Genre: Sacred, Motet
Language: Latin
Instruments: A cappella
Manuscript 1516 in Royal 11 E. xi, no. 6
First published: 1542 in Tricinia (Georg Rhau), no. 5
Description: This motet is unascribed to Jacotin in the source, but at least two other sources confirm its authorship. However, it may be the work of Sampson, the lack of attribution in this source of Haec est praeclarum vas perhaps pointing to the pieces which follow the piece before it (Quam pulchra es) as being his work.
