Latin text Alleluia. Cantate Domino canticum novum laus eius in ecclesia sanctorum. Laetetur Israhel in eo qui fecit eum et filii Sion exultent in rege suo. Laudent nomen eius in choro in tympano et psalterio psallant ei. Quia beneplacitum est Domino in populo suo et exaltabit mansuetos in salute.

German translation Halleluja! Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied! Die Gemeine der Heiligen soll ihn loben. Israel freue sich des, der ihn gemacht hat; die Kinder Zion seien fröhlich, über ihrem Könige! Sie sollen loben seinen Namen im Reigen, mit Pauken und Harfen sollen sie ihm spielen. Denn der Herr hat Wohlgefallen an seinem Volk; er hilft den Elenden herrlich.

English translation Hallelujah. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
