Latin text Cantate Domino canticum novum. Alleluia. Quia mirabilia fecit. Alleluia. Ante conspectu gentium revelavit justitiam suam. Alleluia. Salvavit sibi dextera eius, et brachium sanctum eius. Alleluia.

English translation O sing unto the Lord a new song. Alleluia. For he hath done marvellous things. Alleluia. His righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. Alleluia. With his own right hand and with his holy arm hath he gotten himself the victory. Alleluia.
