Subcategorization

I just created a subcategory, Category:Midnight Mass, and am thinking about how to continue. The idea is to leave Cat:Christmas for general use pieces and subcategorize those for particular liturgies.

Categories:Christmas I-III at first seemed an intuitive way to divide up the three masses of xmas, but of course would be a source of confusion with Sunday in the Octave and Second Sunday after Christmas. So is this the best that can be devised?

Christmas Vigil
Midnight Mass (Christmas Midnight might be more logical, if inelegant)
Christmas Dawn
Christmas Day
St. Steven's
Holy Innocents
Christmas I (only recently renamedreplaced by Holy Family)
Circumcision (should this be a subcat. of New Year's? I think the post-Vatican II feast Mary Mother of God should either be a subcat of Circumcision or link to a general Marian cat.)
Christmas II

I decided Sundays after Christmas were complicated enough to treat together, though maybe Holy Family, having previously been the Sunday after Epiphany, should get a page of its own... Richard Mix 00:52, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
