Wisdom 18:14  For while all things were in quiet silence, and the night was in the midst of her swift course;
Wisdom 18:15  The Almighty Word of the Lord came down from His royal throne.
John 1:11  He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
John 1:10  He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
John 1:4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
John 1:9  That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
John 1:4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Christ, whose glory fills the skies,
Christ, the true, the only Light,
Sun of Righteousness, arise,
Triumph o'er the shades of night;
Dayspring from on high, be near;
Day-star, in my heart appear.

Visit then this soul of mine,
Pierce the gloom of sin and grief;
Fill me, radiancy divine,
Scatter all my unbelief;
More and more thyself display,
Shining to the perfect day.
Amen.
