Doth the sweet pastoral pipe neglected lie;
None skilled to awake its sleeping harmony?
In rural manners few a beauty find!
None sing of Lobbin Clout or Blouzelind!
'Mong simple swains, while innocence will stay,
We'll mourn thy hapless fate. Ah, gentle Gay.
