General Information
Title: Dum transisset sabbatum
Composer: Adrianus Tubal
Lyricist:
Number of voices: 4vv Voicing: SATB
Genre: Sacred, Motet
Language: Latin
Instruments: A cappella
First published: 1555 in Sacrarum cantionum … quinque et sex vocum, liber 2, no. 8
Description: A slight curiosity about this motet is that, when the last 30 bars or so of Part One are repeated at the end of Part Two, only three voices are repeated identically, while the Tenor line is different. Apparently 10 motets are attributed to Tubal in mid-16th century anthologies.
