Italian text Ecco mormorar l'onde e tremolar le fronde a l'aura mattutina e gli arboscelli, e sovra i verdi rami i vaghi augelli cantar soavemente e rider l'oriente. Ecco già l'alba appare e si specchia nel mare e rasserena il cielo e [le campagne] imperla il dolce gelo, e gli alti monti indora. O bella e vaga Aurora, L'aura è tua messaggera,  [e tu de l'aura ch'ogni arso cor ristaura.

English translation Here are the waves murmuring and the foliage quivering at the morning breeze; and the shrubs, and on the tree branches the pretty birds sing softly; and the Orient smiles. Here dawn looms up and is reflected in the sea and brightens up the sky and beads the sweet ice and gilds the tall mountains. O beautiful and vague dawn, the gentle breeze is your herald and you [are the herald] of the breeze which refreshes every burnt heart. Translation by Campelli

French translation Voilà le murmure des ondes et le frisson des frondes à la brise du matin et les arbustes et sur branches vertes les beaux oiseaux chantent suavement et l'Orient rit[;] voici que l'aube apparaît et se reflète dans la mer et le ciel se rassérène et le doux gel couvre de perles la campagne et dore la sommité des montagnes. Czech translation Hle, jak šumí vlny příboje a listovím třepotaje ranní větřík keře rozechvěje. V zeleném větvoví něžní ptáci Přesladce zpívají A úsvit se usmívá. Hle, už se rozbřesk ukázal a zhlíží se mořské hladině a nebe rozzářil a rozsypal perly v trávě a vrcholky hor oblékl do zlata. O jasná a spanilá jitřenko, Vítr je tvůj posel a ty na něm letíš, a ten každé planoucí srdce uzdraví.

English translation     The waves murmur     and the leaves quiver in the morning breeze with the little shrubs; on the green branches, the lovely birds     sing sweetly,     and the east smiles.     The dawn has come,     mirrored in the sea;     it clears the sky,     brings pearls of sweet dew,     and gilds the high peaks.     Lovely, gracious dawn, the breeze heralds you, and you the breeze, which soothes every burnt-out soul.
