Description: Four settings of the Benedictus from four of the composer's masses using different combinations of voices and different contrapuntal techniques. The setting from "Ave maris stella" is based on the equivalent plainchant. The same applies to the "In exitu ..." although less obviously so. The Missa sobre los intervalos, including the Benedictus from that mass, is based on the Aretine hexachord.
