Fu'l lauro sempre verde,
Ma per te sola ingrata,
I dolci,e cari privilegi hor perde.
Quando eri del tuo verde amando ornata,
Dolce io seguiva l'amorosa insegna,
Ma poi che secca pianta,
Per me, che mai rinverda, pur ti scerno;
E ch'a l'antica,e tanta,
Legge d'Amor (Profana) hai fatto scherno;
Secco,e vuoto è'l mio core,
Vuoto insieme di lagrime,e d'Amore.
