Edition notes: Original note values, modern clefs, transposed up a tone. As the voicing is two tenors, baritone and bass, the work could sound muddy without any transposition at all.

Description: Published in Attaignant's 4th book of motets without attribution, but according to Genevieve Bazinet's thesis 'Pierre Attaingnant's Encyclopedia of Sacred Music', the composer has been identified as Courtois, to whom the work is attributed in Moderne's first book of Motteti del Fiore.
