Latin.png Latin text

Jesus junxit se discipulis suis in via, et ibat cum illis:
oculi eorum tenebantur, ne eum agnoscerent.
Et increpavit eos, dicens.
O stulti, et tardi corde ad credendum
in his quae locuti prophetae. Alleluia.

English.png English translation

Jesus drew near to his disciples on the road and went with them.
But their eyes were darkened and they did not recognise him.
And he said to them:
'O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken.'

Based on St Luke Chapter 24 vv 15,16,& 25
