Editor: Gerd Eichler (submitted 2010-11-13).   Score information: A4, 12 pages, 134 kB   Copyright: CPDL
Edition notes: Key signature simplified to 3/1 (Most part books have a time signature of c3/1 while the C1 and A partbooks have ¢3/1), original note values, Musica Ficta clearly marked, original text spelling (the spelling for the modern word "kommt" is different in the partbooks: koͤmt (C1, T1, T2, B), koͤmpt (C2) and kommt (A) Assuming that the doubling tilde over the m (m̃) was forgotten I used the spelling "kömmt" in all parts.), Slurs are used in C1 and A but were probably added later. They are omitted in this edition.

Machet die Thore weit
und die Thüre in der Welt hoch,
daß der König der Ehren einziehe.
Wer ist derselbige König der Ehren?
Es ist der Herr,
starck und mächtig im Streit.
Machet die Thore weit
und die Thüre in der Welt hoch
Wer ist derselbige König der Ehren?
Es ist der Herr, der Herr Zebaoth
Er ist der König der Ehren
Sela
Hosianna dem Sohne David
Gelobet sey der da kömmt im Namen des Herren
Hosianna in der Höhe.
