Ancidetelo pur come vi piace,
Che quant’al trarlo fuore
Del petto mio, se pur vi giacque o giace,
Non averrà come è vostro desio
Ch’ucciso lui debba morir anch’io.

tötet es nur, wie es euch gefällt,
denn was das Hervorziehen betrifft
aus meiner Brust, wenn es denn dort lag oder liegt,
so wird es nicht so geschehen, wie es euer Wunsch ist,
