Edition notes: Original pitch for S.A.T.B. Accidentals for the Altus, Tenor & Bassus in bars 11 and 12 were almost certainly added by Johann Berg's scribe. They have been suppressed. This leaves two augmented 4th leaps for the Altus & Tenor which have parallels in sequences by Josquin.

Latin text Non derelinquet Dominus virgam peccatorum super sortem iustorum : ut non extendant iusti ad iniquitatem manus suas.

English translation The Lord shall not leave the sinners’ rod behind upon the lot of the just : that the just may not stretch forth their hands to iniquity.
