Description:  Neckheim, the editor, writes that the author of the song is a "Dr. M.", who sang about his beloved, a beautiful daughter of a citizen of Klagenfurt. According to its origin, it is therefore an art song, but is now widespread in Carinthia.

jauchz aufar zu mir amål,
es is jå går lång schon her,
dass i dei Stimm so gern hör.

2. Mei Herz, dås kennt hålt lei zwa Tön,
die Glock'n und dei Stimm' so schön,
und klingen dö vom Tål herauf,
tuat sich der Himmel vor mir auf.

3. War i der Herrgott auf a Stund,
dåss i di glückli måchan kunnt,
i schåffet dir an Engel g'schwind,
der dir dei Glück verkünd't.
