Drowned in sin, in danger for to die?
Lift up thine heart, and turn to Christ again
With all meekness and most humility:
Beseeching aye his heavenly Majesty
Of faith and force to fight against the flesh,
Which wanders here in this vale of misery.
Is none but He that may our silly souls refresh.
