- Edition notes: Transcribed from the 1550 print, also consulting the 1539 print Cantiones quinque vocum selectissimae. The two editions differ in some small details in music and text underlay. We followed primarily the 1550 edition, the most important exception being the title of the work. The Willaert motet book gives the title as Peccavi supra numerum maris. Since Oratio Manasse from which part of the text is taken has super, we opted for this as the title of the work.
- Original key (chiavi naturali) and note values. The alto parts are in octave transposed violin clef.
