Description: Psalms 14 and 53 are to a large extent identical. Both are part of the Genevan Psalter. The melody that is the basis of my composition most likely dates back to the sixteenth century. In my composition I have included both a Dutch and an English translation. The composition contains classical and modern arrangements of the melody and text. The Dutch translation is that of Jacobus Revius (1640), the English translation is that of W. van der Kamp (1972).
