Latin text Púer nátus est nóbis, et fílius dátus est nóbis: cújus impérium súper húmerum éjus: et vocábitur nómen éjus, mágni consílii Angelus. Cantáte Dómino cánticum nóvum: quía mirabília fécit.

English translation A boy has been born for us, and a son has been given to us, whose empire is upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called, Angel of the great council. Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done wondrous things.
