Latin text Sicut mater consolatur filios suos, ita consolabor vos, dicit Dominus; et de Jerusalem, civitate quam elegi, veniet vobis auxilium; Et videbitis et gaudebit cor vestrum. French translation Comme une mère console ses fils, moi aussi je vous consolerai, dit le Seigneur; par Jérusalem, ville que j'ai choisie, vous viendra le secours; vous verrez et votre cœur se réjouira. German translation Wie eine Mutter ihre Söhne tröstet, so will ich euch trösten, spricht der Herr; und von Jerusalem, der Stadt, die ich erwählt habe, wird euch Hilfe kommen; und ihr werdet dies sehen und euer Herz wird sich freuen.

English translation As a mother comforts her children, so I will comfort you, saith the Lord; and out of Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen, ye shall have them for help; And you shall see and your heart shall rejoice. Hungarian translation Ahogy az anya megvigasztalja fiait, úgy vigasztallak meg titeket, mondja az Úr, és Jeruzsálemből, kiválasztott városomból jön számotokra a segítség: látni fogjátok és örülni fog a szívetek.
