1. Sing and be joyful, O Daughter of Sion!
Say to the cities of Judah, Behold!
Thy God reigneth o'er thee, He cometh in glory;
Behold the Messiah the prophets foretold!

Hosanna! Hosanna! Pay hommage before Him;
Hosanna! Hosanna! Bow down and adore.

2. Throned in a manger, He renders it glorious;
Born of a Virgin, He comes now to earth;
Laid with the ocean; His creatures attend Him;
The whole world awaits His arrival with mirth! Refrain

3. Rise, all ye Nations, and come with the Magi!
Haste to His Altar, you Tribute to bring;
Myrrh for repentance, and prayer-reathing incense,
