ScoreErrors in Spitta's edition
Since this edition is available in digitized form, it is often used as a master for modern editions. The following errors for this madrigal should mentioned:
Spitta ignored the repeat sign at the end of each part book indicating that the 2nd part from "Tu gran Mauritio" is repeated
Bar 38, Alto1: first 2 notes dotted ¼-note+ 1/8-note instead of 2 ¼-notes (like all the other occurrences of this theme)
Bar 45, Basso2: two 1/16 notes b-a instead of one 1/8 note a
