English text
The Ladies! God bless them! For they
are the beacons that shine on our way;
As mother, or sister, or wife,
The solace and joy of our life.
To woman, like Love, ever young,
Let the toast with all honour be sung!
From her eyes Cupid flashes his darts,
That thrill, while they capture our hearts.
True homage to all let us pay,
The Ladies! God bless them for aye.
