Noah Vaughn Bray grew up in rural Arkansas. His family owns a small business in his hometown. He has been a musician since he was a little child. The first exposure he had to music was in a church choir. His grandmother would let him sing with her when he was younger. This can be attributed to his love for choral music.

He began to sing in an amateur group when he started singing in junior high choir. From there, his exposure to choral music has grown immensely. His passion for instrumental music has grown as well. While he fancies himself as choral music enthusiast, where would the music world be without instrumentalists? He began to play clarinet in the 7th grade, and currently still pursues this passion. Having performed Mozart Noah is a relatively talented musician.

Throughout his career he has had the opportunity to perform in several “world class” venues. Included in these is Carnegie Hall where he worked with Dr. Jerry Blackstone. Noah has been able to perform for many people, including several state representatives.

Noah is a writer of music for all ensembles. His range extends from the small woodwind ensemble to the mass choir. In his opinion, writing for choirs is the easiest. He finds choral music to be relaxing and complex. His most recent piece is Lo’ How a Rose E’er Blooming first performed at the 2014 Clarksville High School Madrigal Feast.
