Description: The Frankenlied (Song of Franconia), or Lied der Franken (The Franconians' Song) is the unofficial anthem of the German region of Franconia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankenlied). The subtitle of the composition "Vier Strophen neu beg̸kleit̸det und frisiert" contains "begleitet" (accompanied) which is changed to "bekleidet". This word play relates to the widely original melody of that popular song (1861) which is now "robed in" a tone picture reflecting the text of the first four strophes. The word "frisiert" figuratively translates as something like "souped-up" and underlines the humorous facet of the work.
