Estribillo

A la misteriosa cena, del común padre llegad, donde viene hacer lo mismo quien combida que el manjar. Venid, venid a la mesa del pan celestial. Angeles y hombres a un tiempo llegad, unos a comer, y otros a admirar.

Que dignidad en el hombre puede haber tan singular, que el angel le sirva, cuando con su dios comiendo está.

Coplas

Si ofrece dios el combite en la mesa de ese altar, como si al solo un bocado llama a tantos a cenar.

Si es vida como da muerte pues llegando uno a cenar, despues de haberle comido revento con el manjar.

Es cordero, o es leon, el plato que se ha de dar, porque aqui el comer de fe no es lo mismo que ignorar.

El misterio estará, aun mas que en el hombre, cifrado en el pan.

Poco al que admirar, pues aunque le comen, entero le está.

Fue por que ese tal, lo que iba a comer, no pudo tragar.

Todos le hallaran, cordero apaciple, al leon de Juda.
