English.png English text

Lo! earth and heaven are now serene,
For when a way the tempest flew
The earth put on a gayer green,
And heaven shone out in brighter blue.

Now clouds of crimson edged with gold
Adorn the crystal walls on high,
And mellow rays at eve unfold
The rich upholstery of the sky.

Eternal arch of boundless blue,
Ethereal floor of azure light,
With angel faces shining through,
As shine the silent stars at night.
