Although attributed to Benedictus Ducis in the source, this piece is believed to be by Benedictus Appenzeller. Articles such as Eric Jas's Another Mass by Benedictus Appenzeller cite Dénes Bartha's 1930 PhD dissertation Benedictus Ducis und Appenzeller: ein Beitrag zur Stilgeschichte des 16. Jahrhunderts on the confusion between Ducis and Appenzeller.
