Latin text Angelus ad pastores ait: annuntio vobis gaudium magnum, quia natus est vobis hodie Salvator mundi.' Alleluia. Dutch translation De engel sprak tot de herders: 'Ik verkondig u een grote vreugde: heden is u een Redder geboren.' Alleluia.

English translation The angel said to the shepherds: 'I bring you tidings of great joy, for the Saviour of the world has been born to you today.' Alleluia. Italian translation L'angelo dice ai pastori: 'vi annunzio una grande gioia, infatti oggi è nato per voi il Salvatore del mondo.' Alleluia.
