WRONG AUTHOR? It seems this music is from Martin Luther, and only arranged by JSB. It doesn't appear in any of the "official" lists of JSB music. --Giulia tonelli There might already be a page under the German title to move this apparent contafactum to. The new link doesn't display readable noteheads for me, so I can't try to ID. Richard Mix (talk) 23:56, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

Aperite portas Redemptori
et ingrediatur Salvator
custodiens veritatem.
Siquis audierit voce meam
et aperuit mihi ianuam,
intrabo ad illum,
et coenabo cum illo
et ipse mecum.

Italian.png Italian translation

Aprite le porte al Redentore
ed entri il Salvatore,
che custodisce la verità.
Se ascolterà la mia voce,
e mi aprirà la porta,
entrerò da lui
e cenerò con lui,
ed egli con me.

Open the doors to the Redeemer
and the Savior will come in,
keeping the truth.
Whoever will hear my voice
and open the door to me,
I will come to him,
and eat with him
and he with me.
