Au roussignol an cel boys,
Di qu'il m'envoyst saluer
La doulce blonde au vis clair
Et que je l'aime sanz fausser
Mais certes ne l'ose nommer.

2. A la cheminée,
El froyt moys de janvier,
Voys la chair salée,
Gras chapons a mengier;
Dame bien parée,
Chanter et renvoysier
(C'est ce qui m'agrée)
Bons vins à remuier
Clair feu sanz fumée,
Les dés sous le tablier
Sanz tancier.
