Italian text Che fai meco, mio cor misero e solo? Deh, vanne, omai là dove Sue grazie Amor da due begli occhi piove! Apri a la gioia il seno Nè ti doglia, il morir, se verrai meno Poichè non è ch’aspire Mortal di girne al Ciel e non morire.

English translation What do you do to me my heart, wretched and alone? Ah, anon to go to where Love rains down his favors from two lovely eyes; open the heart to joy, so that Death not harm you should you faint, for what mortal could wish to go to Heaven and not to die.
