So wie bei Nacht den Leuchtturm in dem Hafen
auf hohem Meer ein Schiff erblickt, ein Nachen,
wenn Wetter es nicht wehren oder Klippen:
So sah ich über dem geschwellten Segel
die Hoffnungssterne zu dem bessern Leben,
