Description: A “sequentia” for the Assumption of the Virgin Mary transcribed from the Trent manuscript tr93. The notes' values, accidentals and colourings are as in the manuscript. The time signature is missing in all the voices, the “tempus perfectum” has been assumed from the context. The coloured notes are in "hemiolæ". In the 1st, 2nd and 6th sections the Contra melody is derived from the Superius following the “faulx bourdon” technique. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th sections are polytextual (the Contra sings the Superius’ verse when in “faulx bourdon”, otherwise it sings the Tenor’s). The notes' values within the ligaturæ are as follows: the left upstemmed notes are semibreves - the unstemmed notes are breves - the right downstemmed notes are longæ. The "musica ficta" suggestions are in the MIDI and MusicXML files.
