D’una Donna gentil, honesta e bella
I lieti sguard’in cui s’annid’Amore
Soavemente m’han piagat’il core.

Le soavi parole e'l dolce riso,
Cagion d'ogni mio, affanno e d'ogni pena,
M'hanno pur clnto[sic] in sì dura catena.

Ma l'angelico viso e li coralli,
E queste bianche perle orientale,
M'hann o pur gionto al mio destin fatale.

Quella candida man, quel vago seno,
Quelle luci o fiammelle a tutte l'hore,
Pungon, feriscon 'sto misero core.

Amor non far ch'io mora a si gran torto:
O levami da sì fieri tormenti,
O alla mia Diva vibra strali ardenti.
