Des herb ais assez, belle, pour toy guérir
Sans aultrepart un médecin quérir
Pour à ton mal donner allègement.
Puis tu scais bien quanteffois et comment
Je t’ay servy sans quelque recompense.
Je ne dis pas tout ce que mon cueur pense.

English translation

Herbs enough I have for my lady’s healing:
No need to call the doctor in my place.
Well you know the way that I am feeling:
I’ve served you long in vain – no sign of grace.
There’s more within my heart than I’m revealing,
More concealed than you may read in my face.
