Di neve e fresche rose
è la mia donna,il veggio al viso e al seno,
Ma dentr’ha fiamm’ascose,
Che brucia altrui, ne punt’ella vien meno.
Anzi cresce l’ardore,
Quanto più il fredd’in lei si fa maggiore.

besteht meine Dame, ich sehe es im Gesicht und am Busen,
aber darin versteckt sie Flammen,
die einen verbrennen, doch davon wird sie keineswegs schwächer.
So wächst die Begierde,
während die Kälte in ihr zunimmt.
