Description: The second halves of the first and the second part share the same text, and Riccio used the same music for both, except that the music of Cantus 1 and 2 and of Altus 1 and 2 is interchanged.

Latin text Dum complerentur dies penthecostes, erant omnes pariter dicentes: alleluia. Et subito factus est sonus de coelo, alleluia, tanquam spiritus vehementis, et replevit totam domum, alleluia. Dum ergo essent in unum dicipuli congregati, propter metum Judeorum, sonus repente de coelo venit super eos, alleluia, tanquam spiritus vehementis, et replevit totam domum, alleluia.

German translation Als die Pfingsttage kamen, sprachen alle gleichermaßen: alleluia, und pötzlich erscholl ein Klang vom Himmel, alleluia, wie von einem gewaltigen Wind, und erfüllte das ganze Haus, alleluia. Als daher die Jünger versammelt waren aus Furcht vor den Juden, erscholl ein Klang vom Himmel über sie, alleluia, wie von einem gewaltigen Wind, und erfüllte das ganze Haus, alleluia.

English translation When the days of pentecost came, all were equally saying: alleluia, and suddenly there came a sound from heaven, alleluia, as of a mighty rushing wind, and it filled all the house. When all the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, a sound was heard from heaven, alleluia, as of a mighty rushing wind, and it filled all the house, alleluia.
