Dum sacrum mysterium cerneret Ioannes,
Dum archangelus Michael tuba cecinit.
Ignosce, Domine Deus noster,
qui aperis librum et solvis signacula eius.
Alleluia.

Whilst John sees the holy mystery,
the archangel Michael let the trumpet sound.
Forgive us, O Lord our God,
who has opened the book and undone its seals.
Alleluia.
