Original text and translations

English translation by Mick Swithinbank:

FATIMA AVE

On 13 May in the Cova d'Iria
Mary, you appeared in radiance, a fair virgin.
Refrain: Ave, Ave, Ave Maria (x2)

With light above a tree, each month you come,
you teach us to pray the daily rosary. (Ref.)

You promised peace on earth, Mary,
if we cease to sin and if we atone. (Ref.)

In October you decorated the sun in the sky,
through your miracle you convinced us. (Ref.)

One day the Innocent Heart will conquer this world,
evil will be vanquished, peace will reign in all lands. (Ref.)
