Latin text 1. Gloria, laus et honor tibi sit, Rex Christe Redemptor. Cui puerile decus prompsit hosanna pium. 2. Israel es tu Rex, Davidis inclyta proles: Nomine in Domini, Rex benedicte, venis. 3. Coetus in excélsis te laudat caélitus omnis, et mortális homo, et cuncta creáta simul. 4. Plebs Hebræa tibi cum palmis obvia venit: Cum prece, voto, hymnis, adsumus ecce tibi. 5. Hi tibi passúro solvébant múnia laudis: nos tibi regnáti pángimus ecce melos. 6. Hi placuére tibi, pláceat devótio nostra: Rex pie, Rex clemens, cui bona cuncta placent.

English translation 1. All glory, laud and honour, To thee, Redeemer, King, To whom the lips of children Made sweet hosannas ring. 2. Thou art the King of Israel, Thou David’s royal Son, Who in the Lord’s Name comest, The King and Blessèd One. All glory, etc 3.
