Magne Ioseph custos Virginis et Christi,
Qui fidelis servus Dei datus es familiae,
Puerum et Matrem ejus accipit et fugit in Aegyptum:
In exilio tristis.

Ut post huius vitae, vitae metam,
Tuo patrocinio tecum
vivam vitam laetam
coeli in palatio. Amen.

Great Joseph, guardian of the Virgin and of Christ,
Faithful servant of God and of the Holy Family,
You took the mother and her Child to fly into Egypt,
through the sorrows of the exile.

May we reach our final goal
With your help may reach
eternal blessed life
in the heavenly dwelling. Amen.
