Biography
Isaac Lane was a early American composer, who apparently worked in and around Bedford, Massachusetts. His works first appear in Oliver Holden's Union Harmony of 1793, and Holden's Worcester Collection of 1794; his three known psalm-tunes (Leverett Street, Providence, and Middletown) appear in a number of subsequent publications.
