Le rossignol, plaisant et gracieux,
veut toujours habiter au vert boccage,
voler aux champs et par tous autres lieux,
aimant mieux sa liberté que sa cage.
Mais mon coeur qui reste en otage
sous triste deuil le tient enlacé.
Du rossignol je ne cherche l'avantage
ni de son champs, de recevoir soulagement.
