Born: 22 January 1748, Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
Died: 1820
Biography Lewis Edson was an American writer of choral music of the late 18th century. From 1776 to 1791 he lived in Lanesboro, Massachusetts, and Mink Hollow, New York, where he worked as a blacksmith.
