Text by David Macfarlane

Like sunlight gleams Thy grace, O Lord,
The pow'r by which all living grow.
It shines on all and thus affords
That all might reap the things they sow.
All life and labor it sustains
And man's divinity unchains.

As we ascend life's stony path,
We look to heav'n and softly pray
For strength to do Thy bidden task;
We know Thou wilt provide a way.
Though we are weak, help us endure
And make our exaltation sure.

Ye straying souls who fear and hide,
Whose works are veiled by dark of night,
Will you reject that Son who shines?
Come forward and be led by light!
His outstretched hand is unto all
Who hear His voice and heed His call.

We find His grace by works of faith;
Let righteous deeds fill heart and home!
That in us all might see His face
And glorify the Father's throne.
Precept on precept, grace for grace,
The Savior's path our steps retrace.
