Description: First performed 15 August 1723, the 12th Sunday after Trinity, in the version known as BWV 69a. Revised for Town Council Elections 26 August 1748 with new libretto & recitatives, a transposed version of tenor aria No. 3 using oboe da caccia instead of oboe, and a different closing choral.
