Edition notes: A semi-diplomatorical edition. The priests intonations to The Gloria and the Credo have been provided editorially from Liber Usualis. The Chanson "Susanne ung Jour" in settings by Didier Lupi Second and Orlandus Lassus are added for comparison as appendices. Some minor and one major editorial correction of errors in the original print are indicated by footnotes.

Description: The last of four masses in "Missae quatuor quaternis et quinis vocibus concinendae, Liber primus, Impressum in Coenobium Sancti Spiritus Venetiarum, 1601". It is the only five-part mass in this collection. The "Crucifixus" section of the Credo is an SAT-Trio, The "Pleni sunt" section of the Sanctus is an S-A duetto and The Benedictus is a SAT-trio. The same music is to be used for the Ossana after the Sanctus and the Benedictus. The final Agnus Dei is six-part SAATTB.
